How did you find Model Insider and what do you like best about it?
I stumbled onto it a while ago, but I was doing photoshoots around once a month and I was busy with school and a part time job so I wouldn't have time to keep track of it. Once I made it my full time job, I took a look around the site more and I've been looking promote more so I made an account. The best thing I like about it is how much easier it is to navigate. I am a web designer and a lot of the other modeling social networking sites have frequent database problems and they keep changing the site around so it's hard to keep up with them. I love how easy it is to credit people and enter contests. M.I. is more open-minded with photo content. They actually care about their members and give more benefits, even if you have a free account.
What is your usual genre? Favorite genre?
Oh, that is a hard one [no pun intended]. I would have to say androgyny, fetish, bondage, and nudes are my top.
How do you find photographers to work with?
I'm starting to get photographers approaching me to work with them, which is nice. I post travel notices, PMs, tags, any kind of way to send out a notice when I am coming to a city.
Do you do your own styling and makeup? Do you work with a preferred MUA?
I can do my own styling and I know how to do basic makeup, but I prefer to have an MUA to do it since I am still inexperienced with makeup. I would like to learn to do more with makeup, though.
Where do you see yourself going in the next year, artistically and business wise?
I see myself touring more and hitting up the Midwest since I haven’t yet. I am hoping to have a few publications and promote more. I want to work with more people on my wish list, as well. I also hope to invest in a camera so I can start up my photography project.
Do you shoot both in studio and on location and do you have a preference?
I shoot both. I don't really have a preference. I'm fine with either one.
Do you travel?
Yes, I do. I have cities and tour dates on my profile and update it when I confirm more cities and dates.
Would you offer a few words on the value you get from your membership at Model Insider?
I am not a paid member, but I will say that you do get great benefits just being a free member.
Anything else you'd like to tell the Model Insiders about yourself?
I am a web designer. I am a music fanatic. I have a very eclectic music taste. I play drums, vocals, also working on guitar and piano. I am a surfer. I love the beach and the sun, oddly enough. I try not to take myself or life too seriously.
